Variations and Ysaye

It’s not often you come across a piece as touching as Eugene Ysaye’s “Child’s Dream.” A beautiful piece for violin and piano he wrote for his sleeping nephew, and the subject of my last major work “Musings on a Theme by Eugene Ysaye.”

I  borrowed from the contemporary french while giving particular attention to the counterpoint within the piece. Enjoy…
